Another year is off to a great start. A wet start, but great start nonetheless. Then again, I’ve gotten used to the idea that around here I’ll never know what the weather will do. And yet, the rain did not dampen Shannon and Steve’s spirits one bit. I LOVE it when couples are cool, calm and collected, even when the weather does not cooperate. Thank you guys for making my first wedding of the year an amazing experience.

The Sutherland Family
Connections. We all need them. We all have them. Some happen because of circumstances; others happen because of new places we find ourselves in; and yet, others are just meant to be. We met the Sutherlands at church (if you’re looking for a great church family, come check out the Faith Community Fellowship family in Trussville) and became friends via the Life Group we were part of. Connection made. Finding out that Chad worked for one of my favorite railroads, CSX, was a definite added bonus.

Sweet family
Someone once said that certain people come in your life for a reason, others for a season and yet others for a lifetime. This family is a lifetime-type. It’s amazing to think that my wife used to babysit the one who is now a mom. Thank you guys for allowing us to be part of your life – not just through the baby years, not just through the teenage years, not just in photographing your wedding and later, as now, you as a family, but for a lifetime.
Amy & Adam
I honestly cannot recall a more giddy bride in all my years shooting weddings. The closest I’ve seen a lady come to the way Amy acted was, oddly enough, another Amy – my now wife. When I asked her thirteen years ago if she wanted to marry me, she just kept grinning and jumping up and down. I think that’s how Adam’s Amy acted this weekend as well.
