Some call it an engagement session. And in ways, it is – this is the session after the happy couple becomes engaged. Some call this “engagements.” Yet others call it a “love session.” Regardless of nomenclature, I love doing these sessions – it gives me a chance to hang out with the couple, see how the interact with each other and myself, and in the end, just to have fun. So, here are a few favorites from Lauren and Leigh’s “Before they said I Do” session. Or engagement. Or love session. Or whatever you’d like to call it.

It is always a joy and an honor to be able to share in one of the most wonderful days of a couple’s life – their wedding – especially if they are family friends. It is always a joy and an honor to be asked to take photos of the fruit of that union later on. This time was no exception…
Before they said “I Do”
Before a couple gets to their special day and says the words “I Do” there’s something else that usually takes place which I love doing. That is, the “engagement” photos. Generally, these are just portraits of the couple in love, after they have gotten engaged, thus the name. Here are just a few of the more recent ones.
