Katie & Logan
It’s always risky planning a beach wedding – the weather has a mind of its own. Driving up to Myrtle Beach for Katie & Logan’s wedding, I dreaded thinking about the next day, while doing only 40 MPH on the interstate in the middle of a terrible, torrential rain, and not being able to see five feet in front of me. Fortunately, things cleared up a bit and the rain dodged us, for the most part. I do wish the sky would’ve been less cloudy, but I, as did everyone else, enjoyed the cooler temperatures and lack of humidity. In the end, the day was just as amazing as the two who said “I do.”

Lauren & Leigh
Some call it an engagement session. And in ways, it is – this is the session after the happy couple becomes engaged. Some call this “engagements.” Yet others call it a “love session.” Regardless of nomenclature, I love doing these sessions – it gives me a chance to hang out with the couple, see how the interact with each other and myself, and in the end, just to have fun. So, here are a few favorites from Lauren and Leigh’s “Before they said I Do” session. Or engagement. Or love session. Or whatever you’d like to call it.

April & Christopher
It was warm. Pollen was everywhere (as evidenced by my yellow shoes, also available in black). But throw in the mix a sunny day with a lakeside, outdoor, private property, a couch, a gorgeous bride and a good looking groom, and you just cannot go wrong…

Shannon & Steve
Another year is off to a great start. A wet start, but great start nonetheless. Then again, I’ve gotten used to the idea that around here I’ll never know what the weather will do. And yet, the rain did not dampen Shannon and Steve’s spirits one bit. I LOVE it when couples are cool, calm and collected, even when the weather does not cooperate. Thank you guys for making my first wedding of the year an amazing experience.
